Cakes are everybody’s favourite but this lockdown did stop our access to such delicacies and we’ve been searching for alternatives. Though nothing can match the fluffy spongy texture, we can try making these cakes in the comfort of our homes. These 3 ingredients chocolate cakes are all over the internet and we decided to give them a shot too. You can make it with or without an oven-like on a frying pan. You’ll learn it here.
And guess what! They turned out deliciously soft. Just takes 20 minutes and you’re ready to go.
Note: There are suggestions for using Eno instead of baking powder, but I don’t recommend that, as it might change the taste of the cake.
Cooking procedure for 3 ingredients chocolate cake:
Preheat the oven and pour the batter into a baking tray covered with butter sheets and bake it in the oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Now remove the tray and invert it on a plate after it cools down.
Pour the batter into a butter coated frying pan, and spread it evenly in a thin layer, set the flame on medium and let it cook for 20 minutes. Cool the kadhai, invert it and now your soft, spongy, fluffy cake is ready to eat.
